Small Rebellion Films is a film and video production company working across Features, Commercials, Documentaries, Music Promos, Branded Content and Marketing both in the UK and internationally.
Small Rebellion was founded by Director/DOP Ben Scott who has Written, Directed, Produced and Edited for the best part of two decades. As a Director of Photography he shot the BAFTA-winning documentary Just a Few Drinks for the BBC, and has shot music promos for high profile artists as well as internationally acclaimed short films. He has shot supercars up the side of mountains. He has shot covert footage undercover in Hong Kong helping expose the illegal trade in endangered species. He has Directed and Produced commercial work for Britain’s oldest brewery and he has accidentally dropped a phone in the Queen’s toilet while Directing and shooting a timelapse film on the Royal Barge prior to the Thames Jubilee celebrations. These last two were unconnected.
He has worked with Olympians, footballers, actors, TV stars, NGOs, large multi-national brands and small artisanal craftsmen and women. He is passionate about telling stories, and finding new stories to tell. He also likes taking photographs and anything guitar-related.
Small Rebellion also boasts a crack team of extraordinarily talented production and post-production crew ready to help bring your vision to life.
If you would like to talk to us about commercial work and/or production equipment hire please get in touch via the contact page.
